Yikes!

Nathon discovered this thing crawling across my bedroom floor tonight! That's right, it's a centipede! I've never seen one of these up close and personal before. He was quicker than I thought he would be. Probably all those legs...

This is the centipede after I screamed, hit him with my flip-flop, SCREAMED!, and sprayed him with bug spray. Nathon insisted I take a photo of his underbelly.

Bryan's out of town, so Nathon stepped in as my knight in shining armor!

Thanks, buddy!

***UPDATED TO ADD: In the past two weeks, we've had ants, mosquitoes, a roach, ants, a centipede, ants, wasps, ants, spiders, a moth as big as my hand, and more ants! There are ants in the dog food, ants in the yard; there were ants in my bathroom & closet, and also in my kitchen! And to top it all off, I stepped in an ant hill outside last night, and got bit about 28 or 37 times. Y'all... I'VE HAD ENOUGH WITH THE BUGS ALREADY!!

Holy moley, good job, girl! I forget - are those guys poisonous or just scary?

Congratulations on finding the bug spray, too. I just usually freeze 'em with hairspray.

Hey, thanks for the great music advice today. What a great resource! Couldn't e-mail you thanks cause I can't track down your e-mail address.

Have a great weekend!

I know they can bite, but I read somewhere that it's just like a wasp bite. It'll hurt, but it won't make you sick or anything unless you're allergic to insect bites like that.
